The Role:
The Ecommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the eCommerce team with a significant online presence. You drives the growth of the E- Commerce business by enhancing customer experience, responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies, and for hiring and training the rest of the Ecommerce team. You are also responsible for generating data- driven commercial insights and managing relationships with partners for the business. The E- Commerce Manager works in a fast- paced, digitally- centric environment where you oversees the end- to- end commercialization of the E- Commerce business.
Key Performance Areas:
Strategize, plan, execute and analyze Ecommerce Sales strategies
Responsible for analyzing performance of promotional campaigns.
Prepare Yearly Plan with Internal Brand Marketing Team based on seasonal promotions, brand launch timeline and special MKD events.
Monitor outright customer inventory on hand, provide timely solution to clear slow moving and ensure customer to have healthy stock.
Responsibility to develop and execute strategies to bring in prospect accounts and grow existing accounts to achieve EC sales target which was allocate by the company for each year.
Develop and implement an E- commerce strategy to improve website, platform performance
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to be a trusted business advisor to accounts
Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
Range right the product for ecommerce channels, optimize the internal resources for ranging plan, and maximize sku efficiency.
Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with our partners/ customers to expand our reach with the account.
Build and analyze reports to help decision making.
Understand the online consumer purchase behavior so as to increase the basket size and frequency of repeat purchase of MKD web loyal customers
Prepare JBP with customers based on seasonal promotions, brand launch timeline and customer promotional calendar.
Solve issues and conduct activities based on SOPs and escalate any urgent or repeating problems to help the team identify a solution.
Prepare monthly forecast, foresee the potential gaps and provide mitigation solutions timely
Budget Management
Responsible for managing AP budget, including internal MKD Web and external ecommerce channels.
Optimize the front & back margin and promotional support to maximize the sales revenue and gross margin of Ecommerce.
Partner with internal department:
Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers to improve quality and traffic acquisition.
Actively solicit partnership with Marketing, IDM, Project team and CS teams to drive online traffic to MKD web by increasing new customer base and retaining existing customer
Liaising with various internal teams to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
Work closely with MA team to use data analytics to organize and interpret campaign data and actively provide next steps for improvements.
Ensure operational excellence through close collaboration with the OP team to maintain in- stock status on- site, plan for peak periods, and improve/eliminate chargebacks.
People Management:
Plans and conducts induction for new employees, ensuring the job role and KPI’s are clearly communicated.
Motivates and engages the team in the company culture
Communicates effectively to ensure everyone is aware of the key objectives and expectations
Implements all people management processes effectively including recruitment, coaching and performance development reviews.
