Editor Trực Tuyến (Online Editor) Full-time

POSITION PURPOSES
Use your writing, editing and publishing skills and passion for travel to help build a world-class sustainable travel platform for Quang Nam province. We are looking for an outstanding online editor to create articles and content for the new official tourism website of Hoi An and Quang Nam.
The ideal candidate will be ready to work full-time in Hoi An from February 2022, and will have a professional portfolio showing solid writing skills and experience in online publishing.
MAJOR TASKS
· Optimise online articles and pages for Google Search following best practices
· Draft and edit online copy including web page copy, articles, event listings, 360-degree tours, press releases and newsletter copy in line with brand guidelines
· Manage freelance writers as needed to create on-brand content
· Report regularly on progress of the project
· Collaborate closely with Editor in Chief to create and publish inspirational and informational travel pieces for Quang Nam
· Carry out research and interview subjects for feature stories
· Coordinate with programmer to build new pages and sections on the website
· Participate in creative direction and ideation for new campaigns and content
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
· Excellent time management and reliability
· Practical knowledge of rules of writing style, grammar and punctuation
· Knowledge of web and mobile technologies including WordPress and SEO
· 4+ years’ experience in writing and editing, with a focus in online publishing
· Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant major
· Having the ability to write in English and Vietnamese, fluent in English
· Strong attention to detail and brand awareness
· Solid portfolio of writing work, ability to make engaging content for online audiences
· Strong research skills, ability to source reliable information, conduct interviews
· Professional, proactive and creative; able to communicate and collaborate well
