Editorial and Production Manager (Publication) Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC)

Ensure first class editorial and production of research
• Provide editorial support to ensure the timeliness of publication and maintain HSC competitive advantage.
• Be responsible for the translation research articles into Vietnamese for local institutional clients as well as in support of HSC’s retail platform.
• Ensure the quality, accurate, and consistency of production output by using the right spelling conventions, units, dates, fonts, layout etc.
Ensure support functions run smoothly
• Ensure research website is up to date and maintain the relationship with our provider, Wordflow.
• Ensure that physical/ email distribution is effective and not disrupted. Take responsible for maintaining the relationship with our distribution platform provider, Worldflow.
• Ensure that FactSet, our publication engine, is running effectively and to our advantage. Be responsible for maintaining the FactSet relationship.
Manage and develop team members to ensure members’ capacity.
Support the HOR in the research review

Knowledge & Experiences
Education level: Bachelor’s degree level at a minimum.
• Have 5 years of experience in editorial and publication in finance/investment sector.
• Excellent skills regarding production detail and understanding. Basic knowledge of financial accounts, macroeconomics.
• Excellent English language skills, especially written.
• A solid understanding of financial statements and financial industry terminology and ability to understand the technical issues around production, website, and distribution platform.
Technical skills
• An ability to understand complex research ideas.
• Excellent editing and English language skills.
• Excellent translation skills, an attention to detail.
Soft skills
• Interpersonal skill
