Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced International Counselor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in guiding prospective students through the entire process of applying to study abroad, from selecting the right courses and institutions to navigating visa processes and relocation. The ideal candidate will be well- versed in international education systems, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Student Counseling & Guidance:
• Advise students on scholarships, funding options, and career prospects in different countries.
• Provide one- on- one counseling sessions to prospective students and their families about study abroad options, including choosing the right country, university, and course.
• Assess student profiles, academic backgrounds, and career goals to suggest suitable study programs and institutions.
• Application & Documentation Support:
• Guide students through the preparation of required documents, such as personal statements, recommendation letters, and CVs.
• Assist students in preparing and submitting applications to international universities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and meets deadlines.
• Visa & Immigration Assistance:
• Provide expert guidance on visa application processes, including reviewing visa requirements, preparing visa documents, and supporting students through the application process.
• Stay up- to- date on the latest visa policies, regulations, and requirements for various destinations (e.g., USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.).
• Pre- Departure Preparation:
• Conduct pre- departure briefings or orientation sessions for students.
• Advise students on pre- departure matters such as accommodation, insurance, travel arrangements, and cultural integration.
• Relationship Building & Networking:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions abroad.
• Sales & Target Achievement:
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly counseling and application submission targets.
• Contribute to the company’s marketing and promotional activities to attract new students.
