EHS Assistant Manager

- EHS law requirement update monthly and making plan to implement law requirements.
- Lead investigations into accidents, ill health, dangerous occurrences and near miss incidents, security cases and ensure that appropriate reporting action is taken.
- Conduct 5S and make sure the company is in good housekeeping conditions.
- Support 3rd party ISO audit and propose corrective action plans, measurements for EHS issues.
- Incident/ accident report to AP monthly: Cooperate with relative functions to investigate for root cause, set up plan to close gaps and tracking to ensure plan is well implemented.
- Responsible for monitoring EHS for contractors to ensure all the contract jobs are conducted safely.
- EHS steering committee meeting monthly.
- Lead and manage business contingency plan in reaction to pandemic or crisis, ensuring the compliance to the regulations
- Safety training: Corporation training and Law requirement training. Cooperate with local fire police to conduct training for fire team and lead emergency evacuation yearly.
- Supervise employees for working safely and using PPE correctly as DICV EHS procedures.
- Be responsible for conducting risk assessment and propose measurements as the plan and improve as scheduled.
- Work with regional EHS team to drive and maintain the EHS management system under DIC Coporation regulations.
- EHS finding report and make plan to get improvements from related departments.
- Apply H&S standards/procedures to ensure the system compliance, timely and quality implementation as requested.
- Cooperate with maintenance to make plan, request authorized agency to inspect all high risk machinery and equipment as requested by Vietnam Law, declare them for the first using.
- Organize environment measurement annualy.
- Key DICV EHS standards/procedures and other requirement to comply with local laws and other institute.
- Making EHS related report to local agency periodically.
- Safety data report to DIC Corporation: Track the volume of items and materials related to the environment (waste, water, energy consumption…), number of accidents, fires,…
- Developing, deploying and monitoring the annual EHS plans, occupational health and safety environmental goals.
- Encourage employees to report near miss to meet the quantity of near miss as procedure. Making plan of implementation, follow up and cooperate with relative functions to close gaps to reduce risks
- Check firefighting and fire prevention system regularly as local guideline.

- Be skilled and knowledgeable in hazard and exposure.
- Understanding of relevant local laws.
- Proactive, can- do spirit for improvement.
- University degree in environment or safety, HSE certificate.
- Strong at leadership, problem solving, project management, time management & planning skill.
- Have a solid, demonstrable working knowledge of local regulatory compliance requirements, ISO 14000 and ISO 45001.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Safety and Environmental management in manufacturing.
Proficient in computer office skill (Word, Excel, Power Point).
