EHS Manager

JOB SUMMARY
To provide leadership and proactive EHS services that support Wanek business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
9、 Ensures proper inspection and maintenance of fire protection equipment and emergency response activities.
10、 Represents company during property protection inspections by insurance carrier and responsible for addressing deficiencies noted.
8、 Implements effective training to assist line and staff management in understanding safety regulations and procedures
4、 Prepares reports for submission to supervisors and management, which identify the potential hazard(s) and or department discrepancies found, and provides recommendations for control and compliance.
1、 Maintains regulatory compliance with governmental regulations on health and safety.
2、 Conforms the standards set by applicable regulations.
6、 Leads and assists plant personnel with safety and health issues.
3、 Conducts routine inspections of facilities for compliance with company and government regulations.
5、 Advises employees, supervisors, and management on safe work practices and potential hazards.
7、 Investigates and resolves employee health/safety issues.
12、 Participate in meeting, workshops, and conferences to keep abreast of emerging safety, health, and environmental issues.
11、 Conducts accident investigations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education

Required: Four Year Degree in Health and Safety or related applied science field

Experience

3- 5 years Health and Safety or related field

Knowledge of:

First aid and CPR
Proficient in the operation of personal computer (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

Skills and Abilities

Available to work a variable schedule
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the company
Excellent presentation skills
Knowledge in the application of government health and safety regulations
Good PC Software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
Effective supervisory skills
