EHS Specialist (Waste Water Treatment)

Conforms to the standards set by applicable regulations.
Maintains regulatory compliance with governmental regulations related to the environment, health, and safety.
As part of the safety culture scheme, works closely with Stakeholders from Operations, relevant departments to appropriately provide safety operation training, safety tour, and safety talk to varieties levels to raise up safety awareness and develop safety on- floor program as well
Responsible for controlling emission by identifying and assess gaps of the system, consult BOD solution to close the gaps of waste water treatment system, air treatment devices, solid waste generation.
Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences to keep abreast of emerging environmental, health and safety issues.
Conforms to Wanek standards and policy.
Work on shift (day or night), if required.
Implement effective training about EHS requirements and procedures.
Able to work with different functions within the company to ensure that waste concerns are addressed adequately, within an acceptable time- frame.
As part of the EHS Department, to also support all environment, health and safety targets and initiatives, and regularly participate in EHS- related tasks as per the instruction of the management.
Responsible for monitoring environmental quality periodically and report

Education
Preferred candidates with experience working with waste water treatment system
Graduated from Univeristy with Health and Safety / Environment, or related applied science or engineering field.
Experience
From 2- 3 years in Waste water treatment
Knowledge of:

Vietnamese governmental regulations on the environment
Waste water treatment, air emission and treatment
Windows- based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

Skills and Abilities

Good English proficiency
Sense of urgency
Good reporting skills & presentation skills
High level of integrity
Knowledge of the furniture industry is desired
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
