• Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the engineer handles electrical and automation maintenance, performs PM/CM activities, troubleshoots electrical/PLC issues, optimizes systems, and supports technical projects.
• Position Summary: The Electrical/Automation Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the plant’s electrical, control, and automation systems to ensure equipment reliability, reduce machine downtime, and support TPM implementation, productivity, and quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
● Support TPM implementation, equipment improvement, downtime reduction, and maintenance cost optimization.
● Execute scheduled PM to ensure stable operation and required KPI performance.
● Able to supervise approximately five to ten employees.
● Coordinate with vendors for equipment repair, warranty, and upgrades.
● Conduct root cause analysis and define preventive actions to reduce breakdowns.
● Manage, operate, and maintain injection molding machines (Marubeni, JSW, Haitian, or other OEM).
● Perform periodic electrical safety checks and comply with EHS requirements.
● Program, modify, and optimize PLC/HMI logic based on production needs
● Support installation of new machines and production lines with vendors according to company standards.
● Participate in 5S, EMS, and quality improvement activities
● Assist in managing and recommending spare parts lists for electrical and automation components.
● Perform maintenance and repair of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, inverters, servo motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
