Electrical Design Engineer ( Shipbuilding company)

JOB TASKS

Remains aware of the latest technological innovation and working methods
Attend the trials of the vessel
Prepare the request for quotation and/or purchase
Prepare the purchasing specification of equipment
Keep the weight estimation of the vessel up to date regarding the latest information
Prepare electrical drawings
Follow- up the regulation evolution
Ensure the design is consistent with the terms of the contract
Make a calculation to define equipment
Make sure the technical documentation available is up to date

* RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

Responsible for the accuracy of the drawings issued
Reports regularly and accurately to the officer
Responsible in maintaining productivity by accomplishing task within the allotted hours

Experience in working both independently and in collaborative environments.
Critical and analysis minded
Experience with 3D ship design software, including AutoCAD and performing design model for system design principles and practices
Dynamic, Organized, thorough and meticulous
At least 2 years of experience in the same position
Innovative and engineering spirit
Familiar with Class Rules & IEC standards
Good communication skills
Experience in electrical design and in the naval environment would be a plus
University&039;s degree in naval architect, shipbuilding technical or related fields

Working time

From 7:30am to 16:30pm
Lunch break for 1 hour from 11:30am to 12:30pm
Even weeks – 48H – Monday to Saturday
Odd weeks – 40H – Monday to Friday
