The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components used in the recycling of plastics. Design and Development
Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical projects.
Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems and components for recycling machinery.
Develop and implement control systems for automated processes.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Assist the maintenance team with complex electrical repairs and upgrades.
Monitor and maintain electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Process Optimization
Implement energy- efficient solutions and technologies to reduce operational costs.
Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering and automation technology.
Analyze electrical systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the production team to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Safety and Compliance
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electrical equipment and processes.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for electrical systems.
Ensure all electrical engineering activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
Participate in safety audits and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Project Management
Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare project documentation, including technical reports, progress updates, and final project summaries.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Continuous Improvement
Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on electrical systems and best practices.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant operations.
Participate in cross- functional teams to drive innovation and improve overall plant performance.
