Embedded Linux Engineer (BSP)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Five Linux package
• Ethernet/IP, PROFINET), CIP SLTS Linux kernel v6.1 cip
• Maintain: Yocto 2.4 based build system, Linux BSP (bootloaders, CIP SLTS Linux kernel v4.19 cip, device drivers, etc.), Linux middleware and application framework (Qt, Gecko, Docker, etc.), Security Package (Secure Boot, OPTEE, SHIP(Security IP) support)
• Maintain VLP/G, VLP/V, and VLP/F for RZ/G2x- G1x, RZ/V2x, and RZ/Five: Yocto 3.1 based build system, Linux BSP (bootloaders, CIP SLTS Linux kernel v5.10 cip, device drivers, etc.), Linux middleware and application framework (Qt, Gecko, Docker, etc.), Security Package (Secure Boot, OPTEE, Security IP support)
• Conduct worldwide customers support (Asia, Europe, America) for assigned and related BSPs
• Release BSP at the end of each month. Then, continue to add features, release updated BSP, and integrate all supports into one VLP every 3 months.
• May support Multi OS on CA55 cores (Arm L3 cache partitioning to support Linux/RTOS/BareMetal), Industrial Network (EtherCAT, OPCUA, MODBUS/TCP,

Technical knowledge/skill
• Driver/BSP for Linux platform
• C/C++, Script
• 3 of following modules of Clock, Low- Power, ICU, GPIO, POE3, GPT, POEG, TFU, Ethernet, Serial, MBXSEM, EnDat 2.2, BiSS- C, HDSL, AFMT, PCI
• Nice to have Multimedia frameworks & Audio/Video codec, Graphics libraries and Image processing knowledge and experience
• HW manual & Schematics reading
• Build system usage (Yocto / Buildroot).
• L3 cache partitioning among BareMetal/RTOS/Linux on CA55
• Linux experience (past projects)
• Network stack SW (EtherCAT, OPCUA, MODBUS/TCP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET)
• u- boot, Linux, Yocto
