Engineer for Electrical and Computer Engineering

The main duties are to support development, operation, and success of laboratories of the Electrical and Computer Engineering study program at VGU.

Assisting in research, prepare research proposals: working on research project(s) assigned by the supervisor, and assisting in and contributing to the overall research of the research group;
Formulating plan and contents of tutorials and carrying out tutorials and exercises;
Manage laboratory consumables and purchase requests for minor equipment;
Supervise all lab activities to ensure compliance with health and safety instructions and guidelines;
Providing guidance to students on how to use laboratory facilities in an appropriate and safe manner;
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot problems of machines and equipment to ensure they are operated safely with optimal performance;
Assisting students in projects, such as bachelor theses.
Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment;
Document information by maintaining machine and equipment&039;s daily logs and lab activities&039; record books;
Developing, setting up, and conducting laboratory experiments for courses of the study program or other study programs and assessing their laboratory reports if required;
Ensure the operational safety of the machines, equipment and lab rooms;
Assisting in teaching (at least 160 periods per year);

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, or Mechatronics, with strong skills in Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems (Applicants with the Master degree will get priority)

Experience:

Experience in teaching support is preferable;
Experience in working with industry is preferable;
Strong experience in AI, Photoshop, 3D- Max, Sketch- up.

Good knowledge in related disciplines.
