Engineering Manager Saint-Gobain Vietnam

EHS (Environment, Health, Safety):
​Accountable for safe Engineering activities, Training, improving safety systems and procedures to employees and contractors, such as LOTO, permits to work, contractor control, machine safety, Combustion standard (the 23rd standard), safety audits, etc
CO2 reduction & sustainability follow the group strategy and requirements.
WCM (World Class Manufacturing):
Leading WCM activities: PM Step 0, Reliability pillar, PM project, eTools ( eTag, eEWO, eCheck, etc.) 5S, Workplace layout, Energy, CMMS, and CBM
Engineering:
Manage Capex projects & improvement projects
Support and spread the use of WCM tools within the department
Works with maintenance lead personnel and the maintenance planner to ensure correct prioritization and timely completion of all work orders and sets out work weekly or daily
Plan, utilize and manage contractors
Oversees timely completion of breakdown root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation (eEWO)
Progressively improves the Professional Maintenance status of all equipment on a prioritized basis using WCM techniques and practices
Identifies and executes development for the engineering team in both technical and soft skills.

Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
Bachelor of Technical Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering
Must be flexible to adapt to changing and varying work requirements
Ability to lead by example; as well as coach, train, and develop individual contributors.
Above- average communication skills (written and verbal).
Good for communication- collaboration & delegation

High leadership and ownership
5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment, including 2 years of direct supervision experience. Especially in heavy industry. Manages multi department is refer.
Strong people development, successor planning, teaming, and collaborative decision- making skills are required.
