- Follow up contracted works, make sure contractors/ suppliers follow our instructions, rules and regulations during their works in the property.
- Interact and cooperate with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services.
- Taking the responsibility of operation for all major equipment as: chiller, cooling tower, boiler, heat pump, generator, electrical system, ventilation system, water supply and wastewater treatment plan, swimming pool etc.
- Support other supervisors and technicians at peak times; undertake any operational duties to ensure guest expectation is met.
- Makes preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment in the mechanical plant as well as for that of other departments such as laundry, kitchen, swimming pool, etc.
- Control and ensure adequate supplies, tools for maintenance, maintenance of equipment and systems under their management, supervision without interruption in repair work.
- Ensure all utilities meter reading are taken daily and Review energy consumption to indentify any abnormality. Monitor and communicate when consumption exceed daily estimated consumption with solution & recommendations.
- Assign work tasks for Technicians, support, and check to make sure work has been done properly and efficiently.
- Complete preventative maintenance schedules for equipment in the major plant including chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning units and fans, pumps, automatic control systems, etc.
- To follow up the implementation and recommend solutions to save energy in the hotel in order to reduce energy consumption and to improve economic efficiency. Recommend ideas for technical innovation.
- Conduct administrative documents needed as to ensure improvement in service quality and operation efficiency.
- Ensures that all equipment is operated effectively by directing and supervising the operation of all running equipment.
- To perform all technician duties in accordance with the Job Description and Hotel Policies and Procedures.
- Make sure workplace area are tidy and clean.
