English Translator & Interpreter (Biên Phiên Dịch Tiếng Anh)

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion;
Read through or listens to material in English/Vietnamese language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a Vietnamese/English language, making sure to preserve the original meaning;
Communicate with Document Control and related departments/personnels to make sure translated documents are up to date;
Follow up with requesters to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
Filter out unnecessary translation requests and get translated documents reviewed by SMEs;
Facilitate communication for people with limited English/Vietnamese proficiency;
Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting English/Vietnamese spoken or written language to Vietnamese/English;
Translates a variety of documents including legal, technical, educational, and commercial materials;
Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations;
Teach English for the company’s Associates.
Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language;
Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately;

Required Experience
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors;
Accuracy, Attention to Detail
Ability to Meet Deadlines, Ability to Work Under Pressure.
Written and Verbal Communication
Time- management skills;
Good knowledge of content editing tools;
01- 03 years’ proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role;
Preferred Education
On- the- job experience can replace or supplement educational requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the related field.
