Estimator (Middle/ Senior level)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Exposure to client communication through email and conference calls.
Exposure to basic Pipeline functions and theories.
Having and applying knowledge of residential estimation practices and standards.
Work in a team environment, take direction and collaborate in meetings.
Providing an above- average level of customer service to all customers (internal and external).
Developing and maintaining moderate productivity speed, quality control, and accuracy on projects.
Count and measure how much material (with quantities and types) will need to go into a project as required to build a designed structure of a house in USA, and meet client needs and specifications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Training new team members in software functionality and client standards.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you have what it takes. Some of the following would be helpful too:

Bachelor&039;s degree with a major in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Construction Materials
0- 5 years of Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor experience.
Fresher is also welcomed
High attention to detail with a high level of cognitive skills.
Be able to work effectively as a team member with minimal supervision.
English skills equivalent to TOEIC 550 or higher. Good at communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Personal time management skills for meeting established deadlines.
Ability to perform taking- off quantity from designed drawings. Sharp and like to work with numbers, have logical thinking, and can categorize things by type.
Ability to read/interpret and familiar with Construction Drawings.
Being familiar with an Estimating software or Excel is a plus. We are now using the Planswift software for work.
Self- motivated and willing to learn and absorb new things, customer focus and result oriented
Knowledge about Wood House structure, detail of Wood House Framing
