The Regional Sales Manager (ETC) is responsible for analyzing and providing business strategies in the assigned areas, coaching subordinates, and implementing marketing and sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the area and assigned product category. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, market analysis, and relationship management with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector. The ROM will ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement plans to enhance market share and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with major accounts, opinion leaders, and key decision- makers.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly meetings to inform sales targets and call plans to territories and areas.
- Cascade marketing programs to subordinates, manage, implement, and monitor business strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Monitor call and promotional plans in the region to ensure proper implementation of activities.
- Update management on competitors&039; activities and new market information.
- Ensure effective internal communication within the sales, customer support, and marketing teams.
- Cooperate with tender departments to ensure effective participation in tenders and promotions.
- Coordinate with the Human Resource department for team manpower setup, training programs, talent management, and performance management.
- Set working plans and standards to monitor field forces in short- term operational and tactical responsibilities.
- Regularly visit key customers to gain support, endorsements, and partnerships to continuously grow regional business.
- Analyze potential business in the area and propose the right strategy to achieve area goals.
- Enhance and support the team to enlist every product in a hospital drug list and increase the availability of UIP brands in the market.
- Visit hospitals and clinics with supervisors to build relationships, trust, and credibility, and to coach Sales Sup on improving their performance.
- Develop, monitor, and operate KPIs for all subordinates, including Sales Sups and Med Reps, to align with company objectives.
- Develop team members through succession planning, career development, mentoring, and coaching.
- Study competitors&039; winning prices from previous years to advise on price setup or adjustments.
- Set appropriate MD targeting, segmentation, and classification in the area.
- Manage an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s business code of conduct and all applicable local laws within the scope of function responsibility.
- Cooperate with marketing teams to maximize product strategies and sales strategies in each area and territory.
- Work with hospital tender committees to stay informed about tender assessment stages.
