Earth Venture Capital is looking for an Executive Assistant to Managing Partner to play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to Managing Partner, overseeing and managing the overall workflow related to research and portfolio management, and ensuring effective coordination and communication within the company.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
• Manage Managing Partner&039;s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and conferences attended by the Managing Partner.
• Assist in preparing meeting agendas, reports, presentation materials, and follow- up action items.
Maintaining Overview and Communication
• Act as a liaison between the Managing Partner and internal team members, external stakeholders, and portfolio company founders.
• Facilitate communication and coordination within the company, ensuring timely dissemination of information and follow- up on action items.
• Keep the Managing Partner informed about ongoing projects, upcoming deadlines, and key developments in the process.
Data Management and Analysis:
• Manage and maintain databases, files, and records related to investment activities, portfolio companies, and other relevant information.
• Assist in data analysis and preparation of reports for internal and external use.
Strategic Initiatives Support:
• Contribute insights and participate in strategy planning to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the Managing Partner in strategic initiatives, special projects, and ad- hoc tasks as assigned.
• Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision- making and business development efforts.
Continuous Improvement:
• Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Leadership Development:
• Collaborate with senior management on various projects to gain exposure to operational aspects of the business.
• Receive mentorship and training to develop leadership skills necessary for future roles.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Fluency in English
• 4- 8 years of experience in a similar administrative or assistant role, preferably in a finance, investment environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
• More than 1 year of work experience abroad is a plus.
• Experience as a startup founder is a plus.
