Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Expert, PMO to oversee and support the management of new projects across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating cross- functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery from initiation to closure. The PMO Expert will play a key role in establishing processes, managing resources, and ensuring that projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assess project feasibility:
Participate in developing the business case with the Project Director/Project Lead/Portfolio/Program Manager.
Coordinate with the Project Director/Portfolio/Program Manager to present the project for approval (Approved Project Charter) to Senior Managers or as per the governance manual.
Lead workshops to develop the Project Charter with the Project Director/Project Lead/Portfolio/Program Manager/Functional Manager.
Project planning:
Lead and manage the development of the project plan, including Scope Management Plan, Cost Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Schedule Management Plan, Risk Management Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, etc.
Integrate and build the Master Project Management Plan.
Project execution:
Implement the project plan according to the approved phases.
Execute approved changes in the project.
Project monitoring and control:
Control the execution of the approved project plan.
Conduct periodic performance reviews of the project with the Project Director/Portfolio/Program Manager or Senior Managers.
Report project progress to the Project Director/Portfolio/Program Manager or Senior Managers (as required).
Monitor the health of the project in terms of time, resources, and budget approved.
Control project risks, regularly review and escalate to Senior Management when necessary.
Project closure:
Release project resources and archive project documentation.
Communicate the project completion to stakeholders and develop the operational handover plan.
Evaluate the project&039;s Deliverables and the approved Baseline with the Project Director/Portfolio/Program Manager or Senior Managers to determine the completeness of the project and its readiness for operational handover.
Project multitasking management:
Lead and implement 1- 2 basic/standard projects.
