• Inform customers about available modes of payments
• Sort, count and wrap currency, billing/revenue report and arrange to be sent to the Income auditor
• Cashiers working late shift need to support waiter/waitress setting up the restaurant for the next morning shift.
• Record totaled amounts, including expenses in restaurant’s database
• Take cash payments in exchange of services rendered
• Operate cash machines and POS to calculate customers’ bills
• Ascertain that there is sufficient change available at the beginning of each day
• Answer customers’ questions regarding billed items
• Assist waiters/waitress for making cold towels, folding napkin
• Count cash in the cash register at the end of each shift and ensure that it tallies
• Ascertain that menus display the correct pricing and tax information
• Process credit and debit card payments and ensure that customers sign receipts
• Place printed bills in folders to be presented to customers
• Welcome customers who enter the restaurant and ensure that they are being looked after by waiters/waitress.
• In charge of kid room: stuffs, opening, setting up, cleaning and closing
• Keep track of inventory and ensure that restaurant supplies are ordered on time
• Check bills to see if the correct amount has been displayed and print them out
• Assist waiters and servers guests during rush hours
• Post charges against customers’ accounts and follow up with them for payments
• Change prices or tax information on menus as per instructions from the management

• Restaurant cashiers operate cash registers to handle payments taken in exchange of services ren- dered. Typically, restaurant cashiers work at the counter where they are also at times required to take and process orders.
• Cashiers have dedicated cash handling jobs where they ring up patrons’ bills and print them out so that they can be presented to them. They also take payments in form of cash and process credit and debit cards – and tender change.
• Excellent knowledge of resort and its facilities, services and products
• Always present and preserve the image of the resort through correct behavior and attitude in dealing with colleagues and customers.
