Job brief
Assists the FBM in the overall operation of the restaurant. To control, guide and supervise all staff with the purpose to achieve maximum guests’ satisfaction. Assists the FBM all aspects of one or more full- service food and beverage outlet(s) on a daily basis and coordinate special events. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- The Assistant FBM might be required to perform some related duties assigned by his superiors.
- To report to work within the requested time prior to commencement of duty, well- groomed and to uniform standard.
- Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs.
- Ensure, in close collaboration with the other store colleagues or outsource partner.
- Update daily log file.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- To ensure the attendants are aware of daily specials, goals set and all activities within the hotel.
- To strive to anticipate the client’s needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn complement client satisfaction.
- To promote a helpful and professional image to the client and give full co- operation to any prospective customer requiring assistance with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
- Responsible for the hygiene, cleanliness and good appearance of the restaurant and proper maintenance of all operating equipment, furniture, and fixture.
- Maintain a happy working atmosphere and teamwork spirit.
- Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the F&B ’s budget.
- Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.
- Assist the FBM in all training programs and on the job training sessions.
- To give full co- operation to any colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner and to assist in other hotel departments in response to the business and client needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Highly organized with excellent negotiation skills.
• Graduated Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Food Service, Hospitality or Management.
• At least 3 years in F&B industry, international hotel, fine dining restaurant, event service or international hospitality management experience essential.
• Updated with the latest F&B trends, technologies and best practices and ability to tie this into guest expectation.
• Strong leadership skills to training and manage a highly F&B team.
