Mô tả công việc

General job scope:
· The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership, expertise and support in health, safety and environment issues for manufacturing activities at factory, in order to support the delivery of a safety culture and performance.
· This role is responsible for developing the systems, skills, and supporting the culture at factory to provide a safe, secure and healthy work environment, which ensures regulatory compliance and adheres to HSE management systems through the development, implementation of strategic initiatives/plans and gap assessment.
Main responsibilities:
HSE Leadership
· Proactively identify ways to improve the effectiveness of factory teamwork.
· Leads HSE programs for the site and participates in learning/sharing opportunities across the Country/ Annual Plan.
· Lead and coach the site leadership team to provide and deliver agreed HSE plans, in line with the country HSE strategy and objectives.
· Leads the implementation of HSE plans and ensure time frames are adhered to at the plant.
· Actively live Intersnack values in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
HSE Strategy & Planning
· Actively participate in or lead identified health, safety and environment Projects and programs as factory required.
· Update monthly HSE performance to drive involvement of employees in safety & environment related matters, share safe work practices, drive accountability and review both lagging and leading performance metrics.
· Take a proactive role in the removal of obstacles to success, escalation of issues or short comings in performance, accident investigation as well as compliance and regulatory issues.
· Tracking, monitoring and reporting of progress to plans and performance indicators through sharing and networking with the HSE community to measure effectiveness of those plans.
· Contribute to the development of the plant HSE strategy and roadmap, which supports the business vision, strategy and values.
· Identify, translate and promote best practices at the site and in the Country/Annual Plan community.
HSE Systems and Compliance Technical Advice
· Implement of safety accreditation specifically OHSAS 18001 and environmental accreditation specifically ISO14001
· Provide technical health, safety and environmental advice and support to manufacturing site. Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of current legislation in the country of operation.
· Provide coaching and guidance to site leadership teams for health, safety and environment related issues and where required directly manage the health, safety or environment issue.
· Reduction in level of risk across the operational activities, with an emphasis on plant, equipment and tasks performed across all functions.
· Coordinate implementation of consistent facility access, induction and orientation processes for all employees, contractors etc.
· Lead and manage HSE Projects and programs as required by factory.
· Ensure that best practice knowledge is shared amongst all HSE professionals and the Site Leadership Team to ensure consistency of approach and delivery of improved culture
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and corporate requirements for HSE (Company Standards) and advise sites/ any changes or updates as required.
Counsel & Advice
· Provide coaching and mentoring to members of the factory team, factory HSE on health, safety and environment issues as required.
· Participate directly in managing key health and safety issues at a site level.
Employee Health & Wellbeing
· Support the development and implementation of a consistent Annual Plan wide approach to proactive health and wellbeing.
HSE Incident Management & Reporting
· Ensure HSE incidents are effectively investigated to identify root cause(s).
· Ensure HSE incidents are reported and investigated within guidelines and information is shared across factories where applicable
· Actively participate in incident investigation / management as required.
· Ensure clear reporting and consolidation of data from site activities identifying any potential developing risks and working with the local management team to develop plans to mitigate such risks.
· Liaise with senior management, Regulator/Authority if required during serious incident management.
Behavioral Safety & Culture
· Provide coaching and support to factory leaders / managers to improve employee and contractor engagement across sites.
· Actively participate in the development and implementation of activities designed to engage employees in improving HSE outcomes and culture.
HSE Training & Communications
· Implement a training needs analysis to ensure legal requirements as well as continuous improvement.
· Deliver training as required.
· Promote HSE through various methods of communication and engagement for site leadership teams.
· Identify and develop consistent training packages to support factory procedure implementation, legal and business specific requirements.
· Monitor the effectiveness of training, including assessing competence for skills training.

Yêu cầu công việc

Education:
· Graduated from a university or college
· Have certificate(s) related to occupational health and safety.
Experience:
· Practical knowledges related to occupational safety and environment
· Candidate with at least 05 years working in industrial Safety or Safety Engineer in factory, or construction site, out of which 2 years should be in a managerial role.
Functional Skills:
· Have knowledge of current HSE issues, methodologies and practices.
· Possess a strong knowledge of HSE and industrial hygiene regulations.
· Have the ability to establish agreement and consensus with plant leadership and effectively engage primary employees, in management of safety.
· Good understanding of integrated management systems for Safety and Environment.
· Have knowledge and understanding of the ability to review and interpret and apply Safety legislation, standards and regulatory guidance material.
· Possess a strong working knowledge of HSE processes including HIRA, Root Cause Analysis, Lock Out Tag Out, PPE Assessments, Behavior Based Safety, Ergonomics, Design Safety Reviews, Permit to work, Contractor safety management etc.
· Understanding of the interpretation and application of OSHAS 18000/ISO14001.
Competencies:
· Intermediate level or higher in Microsoft Office suite
· Creative and innovative in application of safety systems
· Passionate about HSE issues
· Good motivational and influencing skills
· Ability to influence key personnel
· Good in root cause analysis and risk assessment
· Demonstrated coaching and development skill
· Knowledge of local law requirements for health and safety
