Farm DA expert is is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing farm and related agriculture data to derive actionable insights for decision- making. The role involves creating visualizations to communicate findings to non- technical stakeholders. Continuous learning is essential to stay updated on data analysis techniques and contribute to process improvements.
Data Collection and Integration:
• Gather and integrate data from various sources, including sensors, satellites, and farm equipment.
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Data Cleaning and Pre- processing:
• Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Address missing or incomplete data through appropriate techniques.
Statistical Analysis and Modeling:
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in agricultural data.
• Develop predictive models to optimize crop yields, resource allocation, and farm efficiency.
Data Visualization:
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
• Present findings to non- technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Collaboration with Agricultural Experts:
• Translate domain knowledge into actionable data strategies.
• Work closely with agronomists, farmers, and other domain experts to understand agricultural challenges and goals.
Continuous Improvement:
• Propose and implement improvements to existing data processes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.

• Strong data querying skill
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non- technical audience
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the agriculture domain.
• 5+ years Data Analysis
• Strong technical consultancy skills
• Familiarity with agricultural data sources, including precision farming technologies.
• Bachelor&039;s or Master&039;s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agriculture, or a related field;
• Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with relevant tools (e.g., R, SAS, or Python libraries).
• Proficient in dashboard design and data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, Qlik, etc)
• Agro or F&B business operation experience would be a plus
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.
