- Ensures a proper table set up using the appropriate equipment, table linen, china, glass, and hollowware, and cutlery.
- Provides and ensures prompt, efficient, and courteous order taking, serving of food and beverages and clearing of the tables by participating actively.
- Ensures a high level of cleanliness in the restaurants and service (store) areas; makes sure that it is kept in a hygienic and organized manner, fit for food service.
- Ensures that cupboards and working tables/stations are kept clean at all times.
- Ensures all table linen, tables, chairs, all service equipment and small equipment are used correctly and kept in clean condition and reports defects promptly.
- Maintains adequate stock of all needed condiments on the side stations and reports all missing items to the Supervisor or Captain.
- Check all condiments and products in the fridges and store areas for expiry dates, rusty cans, and bottles, labels of bottles, and proper arrangement of all items.
- Familiarizes with daily menus and functions in order to inform and serve the guests.
Checks daily function sheets and menus and ensure the set-up of buffets and distribution of the needed items and equipment accordingly.
- Assists the Supervisor or Captain in organizing the meal arrangements and special functions for expected arrivals.
- Follow up and check on promotional activities (theme night), decorates the restaurant if required, and coordinates with the F&B office.
- Complies with the section guidelines and ensures that the staff does well at all times.
- Participates in all meetings whenever is required.
- Participates in training and other resort-related training programs and ensures that the staff participates in any organized training.
- Ensures that non-kitchen staff is not allowed in any part of the kitchen.
- Ensures that no food is taken from the kitchen without proper documentation or to unauthorized persons and reports immediately any irregularities to the F&B Manager and the Executive Chef or his delegate.
- Familiarizes with all the Resort fire, safety, and security procedures.
- Adopts the “clear as you go” before leaving.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Well-groomed, neat, and tidy at work.
- Strictly comply with the Resort regulation and Employee Handbook
- Implement Department Head’s instruction and assignment.
- Follow communication lines and report lines.
- Any additional tasks requested by F&B direct Supervisor.
