Field Application Engineer/Sale

Serial Microelectronics, a subsidiary of Serial System Ltd, is a semiconductor and electronics components distributor with value- added design and application capability in the Asia Pacific region. We invite a suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position: Field Application Engineer
Responsibilities:

Resolve quality, technical, and application issues related to the represented product lines
Reporting to the Country Manager and dotted to Field Application Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the Product team and Sales team in implementing demand creation strategies for the assigned product lines to increase Sales
Conduct technical training presentation and product training to internal/external customers
Involve in pre- sales activities with Sales team; Promote product, provide recommendation and technical support to customer during their product development phase.
Work closely with Suppliers to create design activities with potential customers, with regular monitor and tracking progress of the activities

Requirements:

Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Self- driven, out- going personalities, good communication skill, and a fast learner with keen interest in learning a wide range of products and applications
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in product development and or field application
Ability to present and articulate the product comprehensively in English
Competent technical knowledge and good understanding of different electronics circuitry; Analog, power management, Microcontroller, interfaces
