Field Service Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work independently and autonomously on a task and within the working environment
Supervise Company equipment and Company partner equipment installation according company standards
Encourage measures regarding process/procedure optimization; to advise and implement to develop and optimize work stages
Installation, set up and commission individual machines of the Company product portfolio depending on the technical specialization of the technician (e.g. filling technology) under the guidance of an experienced service technician at the beginning and later independently
Actively participate in problem solving to analyze the cause of disorders. Be able to issue disorder reports
Execute machine overhauls and re- setup machines after completion
Perform troubleshooting on the Company range of individual machines and also partner companies with their supplied equipment
Take over any further task within Company Vietnam service department requested by head of department
Inspect machines for overhaul and spare parts
Follow safety standards and GMP regulations at any time
Full service reporting after job completion
Support sales department in their activities
Support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards
Promote machine upgrade option to customers
Provide technical training to machine operators at the customer’s site
Actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the designer
Identify and rectify disorders, if necessary with support
Maintain company assets and equipment
Provide technical support to customers

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in mechanical works in the field preferred
Solid technical understanding of food and beverage industry is preferred
Basic understanding of fluid technology and knowledge in pneumatics
Profound understanding of mechanical drawings and part lists
Self- confident and friendly manner
Experience with welding works
Holistic and cross- functional thinking
Bachelor or higher in technical field (mechanical, mechatronics)
Capacity of teamwork with different departments
Good English language skills for internal communication
Ability to work under pressure
Basic organization and time management skills
Hands- on experience with any kind of mechanical tools
High social competence and good communication skills
Problem solving competence
Willingness to travel extensively in Vietnam and also abroad
