Finance Director

Ensure appropriate cash flow management for organizational operations.
Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
Conduct analysis for forecasting purposes and report findings to the executive management team and board.
Establish and oversee the companys finance system.
Prepare timely and detailed financial performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Maintain constant awareness of the companys financial status and take proactive measures to prevent issues.
Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Analyze and project outcomes to evaluate various strategic initiatives, presenting options to the executive management team and board.
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel, including management accountants and auditors.
Drive the financial planning of the company through performance and risk analysis.

Strategic and analytical mindset.
Proficiency in modeling sales pricing and discount strategies.
Experience liaising with Vietnamese tax authorities, beyond mere form filing, to explain business operations and tax treatments.
Basic understanding of taxation in Vietnam.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field; Masters degree is a plus.
Openness to being challenged on opinions and ability to defend them professionally.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage the finance and accounting department.
CPA or other relevant qualifications are advantageous.
Familiarity with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Experience with revenue recognition in SaaS or subscription- based sales.
Proven experience as a finance director or similar role.
Expertise in financial modeling for new products or strategic initiatives.
Comfortable in a fast- paced startup environment.
Basic knowledge of accounting for software development costs and content creation.
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
In- depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating diverse teams.
