Costing & Operational Control
Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Operational Support
- Lead the financial reporting function, including analyses on the company’s financial position.
- Manage accounting systems/ERP (MISA) integrity and recommend improvements.
- Ensure the preparation and submission of all financial reporting, including monthly management reports and Statistical DPI reports.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AR/AP, GL, reconciliations, and month- end closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reporting.
We are seeking a hands- on Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function of a growing logistics company. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, full compliance with statutory requirements, and effective cost and treasury management. The Finance Manager will oversee a small finance team (3 people in total) and work closely with management to provide clear, timely, and reliable financial information that supports operational decision- making.
- Oversee methodology used in determining transfer pricing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Provide guidance to AP Accountant when processing overseas vendor payments, including FCT assessment.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Review AP supporting documents for tax compliance and bank payment processing.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory obligations, including CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT, and transfer pricing documentation.
Treasury & Banking
- Coordinate with banks to resolve issues related to incoming funds, ensuring timely crediting to company accounts.
- Monitor AR balances and Statements of Account (SOA) daily and weekly to ensure accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Respond promptly to daily inquiries from the Finance Controller regarding AR matters.
- Maintain and monitor the Project Revenue file, coordinating with the General Director to verify figures.
- Provide guidance, advice, and review for the AR Accountant on daily operational matters (invoicing, MISA entries, client communications).
- Maintain the AP process, ensuring it is up- to- date and aligned with company policies.
Financial Control & Reporting
- Coordinate and manage bank guarantee processes with TCB and ACB for project- related matters.
- Prepare financial reports and documentation for periodic bank reviews and credit renewals.
- Manage and regularly update the loan portfolio with ACB and TCB, including payment plans and reporting.
- Support cash flow forecasting and ensure optimal utilization of banking facilities.
Planning & Analysis (Supportive)
- Provide cost analysis to support pricing, efficiency, and profitability.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis on standard costs, overhead utilization, and project/job margins.
- Oversee and improve costing methodology for logistics services, ensuring proper cost allocation and accurate profitability analysis.
- Perform variance analysis on material spending, acquisition costs, and volume to ensure costing schemes support targeted profits.
Compliance & Tax
- Provide simple financial models and scenario analysis where needed.
- Prepare forecasts and cash flow projections to support management decisions.
