Roles and Responsibilities
As part of its development plan Safviet JV Co., LTD, a Lesaffre company based in Long An, Vietnam, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager. This role is a key position within the organization and a great opportunity for an individual to further develop.
This position reports directly to the General Director of Saf- Viet and functionally reports to the Regional Finance Director.
· Maintain in- depth relations with all members of the management team.
· Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies.
· Deliver financial performance to the management team and to the Board of Directors
· Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
· Implement operational best practices in respect of Group requirement and local regulations.
· Manage any third parties to which accounting, or finance functions have been outsourced.
· Oversee the company&039;s transaction processing systems.
· Execute group’s strategies and bridge between the entity and various group’s functions: Treasury, Tax, Regional CFO, IT
Planning
· Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company&039;s direction.
· Monitor and direct the implementation of business plans.
· Assist in the company&039;s direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
· Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets.
Treasury and Cash Management
· Monitor cash balances, prepare cashflow forecast, and manage working capital (i.e.: account payables, accounts receivables, inventory)
· Oversee banking activities and manager FOREX risks and needs.
· Oversee the company’s financing and investment requirement.
· Lead ongoing bank relationships to achieve maximum efficiency.
Compliance and Risk Management
· Ensure compliance with Group’s internal control environment (guidelines and policies
· Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
· Understand and mitigate key elements of the company&039;s risk profile.
· Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
· Report risk issues to the entity’s Board of Directors and the Group
· Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
· Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
Accounting
· Ensure that financial & internal reports, including costing analysis, statutory reporting, tax reporting, treasury, accurately are issued in timely manner.
· Control all journals booking in the system by GL section.
· Collaborate with external auditors for the audit period yearly.
· Maintain & develop the accounting procedures/ policies of which compliance with Vietnam regulations.
· Prepare CIT, VAT, WHT…etc and handling Tax reports & with Tax officers for related issues.
· Prepare Financial, Accounting in monthly, quarterly & yearly reports, following VAS and IFRS.
· Regularly updating tax regulation, circulars, etc relate to the company’s field.
· Manage accounting control system to ensure the accounting tasks follow the accounting principles & government laws.
