Finance Manager

Functional
1.Management Accounting & Group Reporting (80%)
•Be responsible for all the HLBB Group reports; Ensuring the accuracy/ timely submission of all reports to Regional Head Office;
•In charge of business performance reports and analysis to support Head of Finance, Business Units and other departments;
•Co-ordinate with other departments to prepare and control the budget, forecast, and strategy;
•Cost management, both OPEX and CAPEX;
•ALCO secretary, present dashboards and reports to relevant committees;
•Ad-hoc management reports to support senior managers on making decisions.
•Work with vendors or relevant PICs to deploy new projects of Finance department as well as support other departments on their own projects relating to financial matters.
•Manage the management accounting team and train staffs to ensure the division runs smoothly.
2.Tax management (20%)
•Be responsible for reviewing tax documents, tax reports.
•Ensure that the Bank complies with all tax regulations and internal policies.
•Ensure all reports are accurate, produced within prescribed timelines and that zero penalty charges by tax and/or central bank regulators are incurred.
•Undertake periodic reviews of activities and processes to ensure operational integrity and full reconciliation to the tax data and fixed asset management to avoid any operational loss or tax penalty.
•Maintain & enhance the Bank’s relationship with Tax Office/related regulators and provide ongoing insight into proposed tax and regulatory amendments.
Managerial
•Lead team on operational matters and day-to-day issues, including interdepartmental projects and tasks;
•Proactively supervise and manage team resourcing requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables and KRAs / KPIs, as well as team cooperation.
Organizational
•Reports to the Head of Finance and will act as back-up personnel upon their absence;
•Liaise with Regional Head Office and relevant departments as instructed by the Head of Finance.
