Job Purpose:
The Financial Business Partnering Manager is responsible for providing strategic financial support, analysis, and insights to business units, including NLL (Nam Long Land), NLCP (Nam Long Commercial Property), and the Investment and Land Acquisition teams. This role collaborates closely with business partners to develop financial strategies, support decision- making, drive business performance, and ensure alignment with the group&039;s overall financial objectives. The Financial Business Partnering Manager also leads the development and maintenance of group- level financial models to support strategic initiatives and investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Analysis and Insights:
Conduct in- depth financial analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and value creation potential for business units and the group
Collaborate with business units to develop long- term financial plans aligned with group strategy
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business unit initiatives, investments, and decision- making
Group Financial Modeling for Strategic Initiatives and Investments:
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions and opportunities
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for the group to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions
Support decision- making for major investments, acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic initiatives
Business Unit Collaboration and Alignment with Group Strategy:
Work closely with NLL, NLCP, and other business units to provide financial expertise, insights, and support
Facilitate regular communication and meetings to foster collaboration and alignment between business units and group finance
Ensure business unit financial plans and strategies align with overall group objectives and priorities
Key Financial Metrics Monitoring and Performance Insights:
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on financial performance analysis and recommend actions for improvement
Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators for business units and the group
Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior management and stakeholders
Investment Opportunity Evaluation and Funding Structure Analysis:
Assess funding options and structures for investments, considering the group&039;s financial objectives and risk appetite
Collaborate with the Capital Markets team to optimize funding strategies for investment opportunities
Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct financial due diligence to assess viability and potential returns
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Communicate complex financial information and insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, serving as a trusted financial advisor
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including legal, tax, and operations, to support investment processes and decision- making
Process Improvement and Best Practices:
Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and adopt new methodologies as appropriate.
Implement best practices in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Continuously review and streamline financial processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
