Financial Controller - Kiểm soát Tài chính

• To provide assistance to other operational departments in the implementation of the internal control tools.
• To devise and maintain a system of internal accounting control efficient to ensure that transactions are executed in accordance with Management&039;s general and specific authorization and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and specific Vietnam legislation.
• To define and implement hotel internal control policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness so that the profitability of the hotel is maximized (in conjunction with the General Manager of the Resort).
• To review and certify any Resort internal or external financial reporting before distribution.
• To oversee the Finance and Accounting department in the hotel, and ensure its smooth running so that all financial and management reports are accurate and available by deadline.
• To oversee the preparation of the Resort&039;s yearly operating budget.
• To review all proposed contracts for pricing and terms, ensuring that hotel&039;s interest comes first and is protected at all times.
• To oversee the Finance- including Accounting, Purchasing and IT department.
• To maintain close communication with third parties such as the Owning company, public auditors, external auditors...
- All balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis and discrepancies are immediately identified and corrected.
- The timely preparation and release of accurate monthly financial statements and other related reports.
• To oversee and ensure the smooth running of Accounts Receivable, Credit and Cashiering, cost Control functions
- The actual record and safeguard of all stocks of the hotel with all variances being justified and corrected.
- The strict respect of all control procedures and policies.
• To oversee and ensure the smooth running of the purchasing functions, in particular that all procurement of goods and services are done in accordance with the hotel policies and procedures.
• To oversee and ensure the smooth running of the overall payroll and general administrative
- The strict respect of country tax legislation.
- The accuracy of the payroll calculation and payment to employees.
• To ensure that necessary in- house/outside training for all employees of the department is provided, to enable personnel to temporarily fill another position during a regular employee&039;s absence.
• To motivate all employees of the department and to encourage consistent job performance.
• To oversee and ensure the smooth running of the hotel&039;s computer system.
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.
• To oversee all legal and tax matters related to the hotel in liaison with consultants and local authorities.

- Being fluent in English;
- • Graduating from University and majoring in Financial Accounting
- Having degrees and certificates related to the profession
- Having at least 2 years working experience as the same position in 4 – 5 stars international hotel/ resort
