About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Overview of Role
Lead Finance systems production support and data enablement to ensure accurate, timely, and well‑governed financial data for management, performance, and regulatory reporting. The role combines FIM operational excellence (SLA, SOP, controls) with data engineering to build robust pipelines across Data Warehouse and Hadoop platforms that strengthen Finance architecture and governance.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Information Management (Primary)
• Liaise with Technology and vendors to implement enhancements and ensure compliance with Finance and regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to Finance stakeholders in line with SLAs.
• Maintain and govern system configuration; ensure SOPs are current, comprehensive, and adhered to.
• Identify and implement process and control improvements to reduce risk and improve cycle time and data quality.
• Triage and resolve production issues, incidents, and user queries; drive root‑cause analysis and preventive fixes.
• Translate Finance needs into functional requirements and support UAT (test plan, scripts, execution, sign‑off).
Data Engineering (Secondary but critical)
• Optimize data storage, query performance, and reliability for Finance reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Partner with Analytics/Reporting teams to provision well‑modeled, governed datasets for dashboards and regulatory templates.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation controls, and lineage aligned to Enterprise Data Governance.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for Finance datasets across traditional Data Warehouse and Hadoop (Spark, Hive) platforms.
