KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Tightly work with internal units to ensure smooth products operations, system and process.
• Tightly work with sales and marketing to deliver seamless proposition for customers
• Share learning & provide advice / guidance on product areas
• Maintain our non- life insurance product portfolio to ensure its stability, competitiveness and profitability
• Monitor marketplace to ensure product portfolio is well balanced and competitive
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
• Tightly work with external partner (insurers) to ensure effective communication, fair insurance, best customer experience.
• Use structured project management to manage the development in detail, carrying out regular reviews, identifying and resolving problems in order to meet goals and milestones
• Monitor, manage and report on the performance of products against Product efficiency, P&L goals, client and customer expectations, driving recommendations for continual improvement
• Manage product pricing, identify new pricing opportunities and work closely with finance ensuring maximum profitability per product with sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis
• Produce the business case (feasibility study) for product initiative for approval / prioritization to show how it will be positioned, how it is expected to perform, its fit with business strategy, client and channel strategies.
• Identify new opportunities for product development
• Produce/input to project/development plan, specifying goals, project phases, timescales and resource implications in order to obtain sign off from key players
