RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and upkeep the necessary tools and models for effective research and analysis.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Head of Fixed Income.
Collaborate with the fixed income team to perform credit research and analysis for both new and existing credit deals as required.
Periodically reassess and update the investment process as needed.
Generate regular and special reports, presentations, and insights on macroeconomics, financial markets, and fixed income strategies.
Support the Head of Fixed Income in overseeing cash management for all funds, ensuring all necessary approvals, system entries, and documentation related to trades are completed.
Ensure the delivery of high- quality research results within the designated timelines.
Keep up- to- date Fixed Income model portfolio reports for designated funds.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on macroeconomic trends, fixed income, money, capital, and financial markets.
Engage in initiatives to expand and enhance the ongoing research and analysis in macroeconomics and fixed income markets.
Contribute to reviewing fixed income portfolios, integrating research findings, trading ideas, and strategies while adhering to fund mandates, investment limits, and objectives.
Compile and manage reports related to fund compliance, risk, client updates, annual fund summaries, and fund management, among others.
Work closely with relevant departments to finalize trade executions and ensure all related reports and documentation are accurately completed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fund management certificate is preferred.
This role demands prior fundamental research experience and a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, government policies, the bond market, capital markets, and various sectors.
Experience related to portfolio management is also essential.
A bachelor&039;s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree or a CFA designation.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly and convincingly in both oral and written forms.
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in research related to macroeconomics, fixed income, capital markets, stock markets, or similar areas.
