Fm Engineering Operation Director

CBRE is providing IFM service to our clients globally, we are hiring a FM Engineering Operation Director who can manage the big team of engineering and responsible for managing the performance of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems) and maintain continuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties for one of our global manufacturing client in Bình Duong. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You&039;ll Do:
• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross- functional performance
• Seek out new business. This includes the identification of opportunities, engaging in client solicitations, proposal developments, and creating presentations.
• Identify and solve multi- dimensional, complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization&039;s functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes and standards within job discipline.
• Oversee a business unit&039;s financial performance.
• Approve annual operating budgets.
• Approve hiring contractors and subcontractors based on facility need. Implement bidding procedures as required for contract maintenance activities.
• Direct the daily operation of facility controls and asset management systems.
• Coordinate and manage the team&039;s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross- train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

What You&039;ll Need:
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Bachelor&039;s Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred with relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems
• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
• Experience preferred in developing and managing organizational budgets
• In- depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
