We are looking for a bright and dynamic professional with at least 3 year experience working in logistics , shipping lines, freight forwarders or import/ export to join our team as a FOB Sales Executive :
The candidate for this role will be expected to excel at the following key responsibilities:
- Handle space and rate related issues regarding a few Global Tender accounts.
- Identify new and potential clients through referrals, newspaper, magazines, MSC&039;s network and other means to set up meetings to understand their business and requirements.
- Assist Export Documentation Department to handle complicated demands and special arrangements from Shippers/ Consignees from time to time.
- Maintain the close relationship and get full support from the clients with regular visits and entertainment to enhance opportunities of getting required business.
- Maintain the current clients and at the same time increase MSC presence/ share in the market.
- Perform any duties as assigned by Trade Manager /Commercial Manager.
- Liaise with Geneva and other MSC Agents for special issue/ problems.
- For FOB shipment (Destination Control Accounts, Geneva Control Accounts), obtain full details from shippers/ other sources i.e. full style address, commodity, rates (if any) and send them as sales leads to respective parties (DCA / GCA) for them to secure business.
- Monitor and ensure that Weekly Reports on lifting performance are sent on time to MSC Geneva/ MSC Regional Office.
- Support Transpac Trade Manager in ensuring Credit accounts and Cash payment are paid on time.
- Assist and support Trade, Customer Service Manager&039;s functions in their absence.
- Promote MSC digital and Ecommerce solutions to existing/ new customers.
- Prepare and send Daily / Weekly reports to relevant parties.

- You have a strong command of English in both speaking and writing.
- You are confident, self-driven and passionate about dealing with people.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- You have at least 3 years’ experience working in logistics, shipping lines, freight forwarders or import/ export and at least 1 year experience working in Sales
- You are adaptive and able to work independently.
