Forklift Design Engineers

Design one of the following 3 fields. 1. Design for Electrical parts of forklift truck: Controller (Hardware), Display, Charger, Wire harness, Batteries, Lights or 2. Design and make drawings for Electrical circuit, electronics circuit, electricals parts or 3. Design and development for software of forklift driving and operation control: Controller, Display, Charger. Other tasks • Test and integrate custom PCBs into systems. • Work cooperates discuss with parts supplier/ vendors to make design. • Support engineering team with bench test harnesses and other prototyping tasks. • Design/test components. • Create product design documentation – such as CAE (computer aided engineering), 3- D models (Siemens NX preferred), detail drawings, engineering lists, reports, test plans and software coding – to support release of Change Orders describing component design revisions. • Support/execute development testing to ensure design robustness to requirements. • Valid electric vehicle safety training certificate or demonstrated experience working with high voltage battery systems. • Integrate new controllers, sensors, and electro- mechanical functions into vehicle architectures, serving as the embedded system subject matter expert for the development team. • Debug and test embedded systems using provided tools. Opportunity for two years of training in Japan

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with major in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics /Electrical & Computer engineering, or related field. • Experience of Motor control system or Charger control system. • Communicate with Engineering Department in Japan by Japanese/English. • Knowledge/skill in drafting practices, CAD (Siemens NX preferred), engineering analysis and design layouts. • Basic knowledge/skill in electrical schematic design • Attention to detail and strong desire to produce quality work. • Experience with PCB soldering and rework. • Strong understanding of physics and engineering fundamental • Knowledge of Mechatronic software development (MATLAB/Simulink preferred) • English skill is required for the purpose of communicating in the company, communicate with Engineering Department in Head Office by Japanese/English. • Prefer experience in vehicle- based systems (material handling, construction, agriculture, or automotive) • Familiarity with data acquisitions systems and process/test stand automation Input/Output structure and analog/digital control signals. PID controllers and tuning • Understand complex mechanical and electrical product systems and test equipment.
