Fresher/Jr Backend Developer Nodejs, Javascript, Sql

We are seeking a motivated Junior Node.js Developer to join our back- end development team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with less than one year of experience who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have some experience with Node.js and be familiar with either Express.js or Nest.js. Knowledge of databases and basic understanding of Docker, RESTful APIs, and unit testing is also desired.
Key Responsibilities:

Help design and implement APIs
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Assist in creating and maintaining API documentation using Postman and Swagger
Write and execute basic unit tests to ensure code quality
Assist in developing and maintaining server- side logic using Node.js
Work with databases, including both NoSQL and SQL, under supervision
Collaborate with front- end developers to integrate user- facing elements

Requirements:

Experience: 0- 2 years of hands- on experience with Node.js development
Familiarity with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) databases
Basic knowledge of Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks
Basic English reading and writing skills
Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of front- end technologies, including JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS
Openness to utilizing AI tools for development assistance
Basic knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications:

Project experience in back- end development
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice to have:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Excellent verbal communication in English
Understanding of RESTful APIs and their implementation
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest)
