Fresher - Structural Design Engineer (Kỹ Sư Thiết Kế Kết Cấu - Australia Company)

*** SYNOPSIS
The role of the Structural Design Engineer is to perform engineering services such as the design of concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures for new and existing infrastructure quickly and accurately in accordance with Company procedures and protocols.
*** SCOPE
This position reports to team leader and works collaboratively with other divisional personnel to complete duties. The occupant of this position is expected to have sufficient experience and training to enable them to carry out their assigned duties under general direction. The occupant of this position is individually held accountable for the timeliness, cost and quality of engineering deliverables on projects individually assigned. This position is expected to work with minimal general guidance and direction with scope for the incumbent to exercise limited initiative, discretion and judgment in their service delivery.

*** JOB DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Self- check and ensure own designs and calculations are reviewed to ensure accuracy and quality;
• Produce designs that meet client requirements using a CAD package such as VectorWorks or AutoCAD;
• Strive for accuracy and quality, exercising lateral thinking where appropriate to come up with innovative designs/solutions for clients;
• Liaise with colleagues and other departments as requested
• Use Engineering software to produce professional structural engineering designs that meet client requirements;
• Ensure that all engineering designs adhere to Australian Standards and Structerre&039;s design philosophy;
• Work with clients to understand their design requirements

• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings;
• An understanding of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, engineering principles;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English;
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to manage own activities and workload, and meet deadlines, with minimal supervision;
• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required;
• An acute attention to detail in all work output;
*** SALARY PACKAGE: Negotiable according to experience and ability
