Mô tả công việc

Manage operation of the Front desk operation2. Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with the highest standard of service and guest satisfaction.
Review room availability status, room blockage and special requests on a daily basis through working closely with Reservations Manager and liase on all groups and FIT movements
Handles guest needs inquiries and requests promptly.
Provides input for departmental meetings.
Follow communication lines and report lines.
Believe in teamwork, cooperate with colleagues.
Acts as sales person in order to maximize room revenue and MOD’s revenue (Minor Operated Department).
Work with Housekeeping and Engineering on daily operations regards to guestroom status.
Manage duty roster
Greet guests as time permits at lobby and assists Receptionist during busy period.
Implement Department Head’s instruction and assignment.
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Identifies departmental training needs and conducts training.
Maintain standards of service quality and performance standards.
Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
Any additional tasks requested by his/ her HOD.
Complies with hotels health, safety and hygiene.
Review all VIP room blocking.
Review Front Desk Logbook daily to monitor all activities.
Monitor open and close on day status to maximize room revenue and demonstrate the concept of yield management.
Handle complaints with immediate action and thorough follow up and train staff how to solve.
Supervise and train all Front Desk staff to ensure that the best guest experience is provided
Well-groomed, neat and tidy at work.
Strictly comply the Hotel regulation and Employee Handbook.
Chair monthly Reception meeting to review performance & discuss existing problems for improvement
Make necessary arrangements for group check-in.
Ensure that information is passed to every one accurate and clear.

Yêu cầu công việc

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
Able to multi-task and prioritise tasks consistent with business objectives.
Self-motivated.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND EDUCATION.
Graduate of a Hotel Management degree desired.
Must be fluent in English, conversational in local language desired.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the same position or strong track record as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in the Rooms Division of a 4-5 star hotel for at least 5-years Job Requirement
Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT, PMS, industry related software desired.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Innovative thinking.
High attention to detail.
Good financial management skills.
Ability to organise and lead complex projects.
Strong leadership, coaching and counselling skills.
