Assist the Line Manager to ensure the respective function under charge achieve the warehouse KPI’s such as productivity, overall cost, backlog, accuracy, ETC via:
Provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information.
Daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties.
Supervise the daily workflow and manpower deployment to meet daily performance, quality and cost targets.
Execute efficiency improvement opportunities to achieve operational excellence for the respective function in charge
To produce reports for function and monitor the performance based on the reports
Assist the Line Manager to identify daily operational bottlenecks and work closely with other warehouse management counterparts to derive resolution.
To troubleshoot with Inbound and Inventory team on issues and clarifications on inventory items being processed for orders
To manage all operations and ensure the team meets all KPIs including but not limited to zero errors, zero backlog on floor and orders per employee.
Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame.
Assist the Line Manager to identify obstacle and hindrance in warehouse layout, warehouse processes and IT and recommend solutions to drive efficiency and productivity
Management of holiday and absence.
Performance management including appraisals and coaching.
To monitor the process and propose improvements that can give performance gains to the team
Ensure the function in charge is operating during shift at optimal manpower resource and in a healthy, safe and secured environment free of incident, via
Enforce strict practise of Lazada Way and 5s within the function.
Identify and highlight manpower deployment surplus, shortage versus forecast and actual business volume during shift
Enforce strict compliance of health, safety and security compliance rules within the function
Provide leadership direction and clarity to the function team to ensure the team is working at optimal productivity daily, via
Actively coach and train workers who exhibit skills / knowledge gaps to prevent impediment of daily operation progress
Constantly provide and maintain a clear and concise communication channels within the function so that essential information is cascaded and understood within the team
Work with team leaders during shift to ensure workers are performing optimally with needed skills and knowledge to achieve the daily productivity output
Work with Team Leader to ensure and maintain strict discipline within the function workforce
