• As a Game Community Manager, you will report directly to the Product Marketing Manager and work closely with a group of passionate community experts to develop and nurture the relationship between Gameloft as the game developer and the game’s player community.
• In this role, you are responsible for creating & executing the community strategy and plan for your game, with the ultimate goals of fostering healthy communities and helping extend their gaming experience in- game & out.
• PASSION is the key! For this position, you are expected to be a passionate and tech- savvy social media marketeer with an understanding of the importance of communities and their power within a game’s lifecycle. You’re the kind of social marketeer who is aware of trends in your field and always looking for ways to instill these trends and benchmark into your day- to- day role.
Principle Accountabilities:
• Coordinate UGC programs for your game (e.g Content Creator Program, hashtag challenges, community contributions board etc.) & report on the performance of these initiatives.
• Design and implement the most adapted yet compelling community strategy for your game, utilizing all possible digital marketing leverages & opportunities.
• Produce and publish engaging and creatively relevant content and communication for your game communities, such as blog posts, posts on social media, videos, podcasts, livestreams...
• Proactively take part in the elaboration of the marketing plans for your game, ensuring that all digital marketing & social marketing touchpoints are addressed in the most effective way.
• Monitor, moderate and interact with the game community platform and channels (forum, Discord, Reddit, the other social media..) and ensure they are joyful, meaningful, safe, respectful and inclusive.
• Collaborate and coordinate with game development team, monetization team, marketing, customer care and the other departments involved to ensure the alignment and consistency of the game community messages and activities.
• Manage store reviews on specific platforms.
• Grow, develop and organize the communities of your game players and fans.
• Conduct benchmarks & trends observations and be a proactive source of ideation for the Game’s marketing team.
• Set, collect and analyze data of the communities such user behaviors, reactions, sentiment, suggestions...then share and contribute the inputs, recommendations to game development and monetization team and the other stakeholders involved to achieve the game common goals.
• Proactively identify & propose innovative solutions which will set your game apart from its direct & indirect competition.
