We&039;re seeking a talented and passionate Motion graphic & Storyboard Animator Artist with a strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging storyboard, game, TV/ film animation elements for our reels games.
Koban Game Studios are seeking a talented and experienced Motion Graphics Artis. As a game studio, we aim to produce innovative and engaging game experiences for our audience, pushing the boundaries of technology, creativity and the concept of fun. With a culture of learning, we are always researching and dissecting games, speaking with our players, analyzing the market and discerning trends. We also test our design hypothesis and technological implementations with the rigor of a scientist; after all, there is always science in game development.
Your main responsibilities for this position will be:
Create high- quality motion graphics: Design storyboard and animate various motion graphics elements, including:
reels and symbols
Intro and outro sequences
Bonus game animations
Special effects and particle systems
UI elements and transitions
Collaborate with the team: Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure that motion graphics and animation align with the overall vision and gameplay.
Optimize performance: Optimize motion graphics assets for optimal performance across different platforms and devices.
Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics and storyboard, animation.
Job Requirement
Have 3- 5 years of experience
Proficiency in After Effects: Demonstrated expertise in Adobe After Effects, including: ·
Keyframing and animation techniques
Particle systems and special effects
Plugin integration and customization
3D animation and compositing
Strong artistic skills: A keen eye for design, composition, and color theory.
Experience in gaming: Previous experience in the gaming industry is preferred, but not required.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing relevant motion graphics work, preferably in the gaming or interactive media field
Teamwork and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Problem- solving: The ability to think creatively and solve technical challenges.
Bonus Skills:
Has Storyboard/ Animation project in portfolio
Understanding of game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine)
Experience with other animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) ·
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) ·
