Garment Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
• Follow new styles through the development process from concept to PPM, getting styles fit approved in the agreed timeline and to the correct standard by adopting a right first time work ethic. Interpreting customer comments from design intent into actual. Ensuring all operational methods are production friendly and using the best efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1, (30%)
• Submit fit logs for all samples produced and keep recorded logs of styling, fit, pattern & construction changes.
• Liaise with design / tech team (at HO & in region) for any styling, fit or construction call- outs.
2, (20%)
• Drive handover meetings and keep in constant contact with cross- functional departments.
• Check tech pack information is accurate and issued to the factory PP team on time.
3, (30%)
• Work with sample sewing team & sample coordinator to control sample on- time delivery.
• Support factory PP team on difficult styles or new processes
• Arrange Factory Pre- production meeting & summarize Pre- production notes on time
• Ensure material testing results are complete, reported & recorded – copies maintained in the tech pack
4, (20%)
• Train sample coordinators & Assistant gmt Technicians to understand company workflow, follow- up and action tasks
• Any other tasks requested by next line manager or Top Management
