Position Summary: The General Cashier is a vital member of the finance department, responsible for overseeing the club’s daily cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling, and maintaining comprehensive records of all cash flows within the establishment. Job Title: General Cashier
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to cash operations, contributing to the overall financial reporting and analysis.
Perform daily cash counts and reconcile cash with receipts, addressing and resolving any discrepancies immediately.
Ensure the security of the cash office and all cash holdings, implementing and adhering to strict security measures.
Maintain accurate and up- to- date records of all cash handling activities, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage and record daily cash transactions, ensuring all cash receipts and disbursements are accurately accounted for and securely handled.
Prepare bank deposits and perform bank runs to deposit or withdraw funds as required, maintaining a strict chain of custody for all transactions.
Provide training and guidance to staff on proper cash handling procedures and policies to ensure compliance and reduce the risk of errors or fraud.
Collaborate with the finance department to support cash flow management and forecasting efforts.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proven experience in cash handling and financial record- keeping, ideally within a gaming, hospitality, or retail environment.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical financial practices.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy in financial transactions.
High school diploma required; further education in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in financial software and systems used for cash management and record- keeping.
Knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to cash management.
