Job Purpose
This position is responsible for annualy business planning and managing of the overall operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
The General Manager will plan, organize, direct managements all operations and business activities. He/she is responsible for delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the property.

- GM reports directly to Owner Rep/ BOD
Primary Responsibility
Business Perfomance
- Incharge of annual budgeting and financial forecast for the property. (incld: Opex and Capex)
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
- Analyze monthly P&L and month- end reports, identify deviation from business plan goals
- Superivise all business activities and keep relations with T.A; T.O and event planners. Recruit and superivise commercial team.
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model and closely work with Sales & Marketing team to follow up under specific direction
Operation
- Maintain and supervise the property to ensure it meets operational standards, is in good condition, and complies with laws.
- Develop, recommend, implement and manage the operational department’s annual and long term goals.
- Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and set clear objectives
- Evaluates changes in guest needs, guest mix and competitive set. Recommend appropriate products/services and operational changes as necessary
- Conduct daily briefing with management on current key activities
- Ensures optimal compliance with corporate focus audit, local health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Representation
- Be the spoke person of the proprety in operation&039;s activities, media meeting, agents relations and local government relations.
- Be visible around the hotel and show an active interest in our colleague&039;s welfare; guest satisfaction and business partnership.
- Help and support in establishment of positive owner relations through proper and appropriate communications with the appointed Owner’s representative
Team management
- Responsible for interviews, selection and recruitment of operations departments management team
- Identify and develop team members with potential
- Conduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the operations departments management team
- Manage performance issues that arise within the hotel operationion. Recruit, train, develop, coach and counsel, conduct performance evaluations and resolve problems of departmental team members and managers
