Genetic Medical Lab Technician

Objective:
Perform genetic medical tests in accordance with regulations and professional standards, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
Main tasks:

Receive, process and preserve genetic medical test samples.
Perform genetic medical testing techniques in accordance with the correct procedures, including:

c, Analyze data, interpret results.
b, Use specialized equipment to conduct tests.
a, Preparation of patient samples, control material, reagents and kits.

Compile the complaints/ feedback related to the results for the Genetic doctor to evaluate and do the resolutions.
Record, store and manage test data accurately and completely.
Participate in scientific research activities related to the field of genetic testing if any.
Maintain records for material management in department
Participate in training courses to improve professional skills.
Support other specialists in the laboratory when necessary.
Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Comply with regulations on biosafety and labor safety in the laboratory.

Job Requirements
Professional qualifications:

Having a certificate of practice in testing and certificates related to genetic medicine
University graduate majoring in genetic medical testing or related majors.
Mastering knowledge of genetic medicine, testing techniques, principles of interpreting results.
Ability to use specialized software in the field of genetic medical testing.

Experience:

Experience using specialized equipment in the field of genetic medical testing.
Ability to process and analyze test data effectively.
Priority is given to candidates with 1 or more of experience working in a genetic medical laboratory.

Skills:

Computer skills and specialized software.
Ability to learn and absorb new knowledge quickly.
Communication skills, teamwork and problem solving.
Skills in professional operations, using equipment and chemicals in the laboratory.
Good in English is a plus.
Skills in analyzing, processing and interpreting test data.
