PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Global Graduate Programme is an 18- month, fast- track development journey to a management position for high potential fresh graduates and young professionals, with the aim of raising future leaders of BAT in different functions. Let’s dive into real- world challenges, handling impactful projects and exceptional assignments from day one. You will develop outstanding commercial skills- a full understanding of the dynamics of the market you are operating in, and how the BAT departments work together to achieve outstanding business results.
Human Resources
• Enhancing your understanding of Vietnam’s dynamic talent landscape while working in a global and inclusive organization.
• Collaborating with local and global HR teams to implement best practices and standardized tools across BAT.
• Supporting the deployment of strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals.
• Gaining exposure to core HR pillars such as HR Business Partnering, Talent Management & Development, Rewards, and Employee Relations.
• Partnering with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Finance
• Supports ad- hoc financial projects and new business initiatives, providing analytical input and financial modeling as needed
• Prepares accurate and timely analytical and management reports, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and variance analysis to support financial performance tracking.
• Acts as a proactive business partner, driving process improvements, fostering a customer- oriented mindset, and promoting teamwork across functions.
• Contributes to the development of robust business cases for strategic decisions.
• Translates financial data into meaningful insights, explaining key drivers and trends to support informed decision- making.
Manufacturing
• Participate in projects that integrate innovation and transformation initiatives and sustainable practices into manufacturing operations.
• Implement and champion lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Oversee and optimize production or engineering management to ensure operational excellence and achieve key performance targets.
• Ensure production, manufacturing business priorities are exceptionally delivered within respective cell/ scope/ project with highest product quality, lowest production resources and in a safe manner.
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams to drive process improvements and deliver cost- effective solutions.
• Contribute to Commercial Projects (New Product Introduction), ensure product consistency & excellence.
Brand Marketing
Rotation in Marketing Deployment
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Sales, Product Development, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and integration of brand projects with overall business strategies.
• Deploy new products, lead, monitor, and evaluate new products within the Brand House.
• Incorporate findings into campaign strategies, contribute to develop & monitor Brand Campaigns, evaluate effectiveness with data/performance tracking.
• Manage brand house performance, through understand & analyze market info & insight, brand health, sales data, and be able to propose an action plans.
Rotation in Insight & Foresight
• Apply market research, translate data & information into impactful insights & foresights to support critical business decision- making throughout the brand project lifecycle.
• Manage complex internal data, research reports & ease of accessibility across the organization, driving tech- enabled automation and simplification, empowering teams to self- serve on- demand.
• Conduct report & provide input to assist developing organizational understanding of consumers, shoppers, and developing go- to- market plans for each category.
Rotation in Trade Deployment
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Sales, Brand to ensure consistency of product launching & product development in market.
• Monitor key metrics to analyze effectiveness & make adjustment actions.
• Based on sales performance, business focuses, able to prioritize where to focus and design trade activation initiatives to drive sales performance.
Trade Marketing & Sales
Rotation in Field Sales
• Understand & analyze sales data to prioritize focus & come up with tactical initiatives to increase product distribution & sales performance.
• Oversee and manage sales activities in assigned regions, including route planning, assign sales target, monitor and analyze trade performance metrics, manage sales representatives team, etc.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners & customers.
Rotation in Trade Deployment
• Monitor key metrics to analyze effectiveness & make adjustment actions.
• Based on sales performance, business focuses, able to prioritize where to focus and design trade activation initiatives to drive sales performance.
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Sales, Brand to ensure consistency of product launching & product development in market.
Rotation in Sales Operations
• Support manage trade system & data, provide helpful insights to improve field operation effectiveness.
• Ensure operational excellence across all tiers of the distribution model by providing effective process, sales guidance, tools, and trade policies.
