As a Global Production Director, you will have a broad range of responsibilities. One of your main duties will be to develop and implement the production strategy, aligning it with the company&039;s overall goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing and optimizing the production budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet production targets. Additionally, you will lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
This is a remote position.
We are a British owned company who manufacture (mainly) toys in Asia. We are looking for someone who is based in Vietnam with a strong background in textile production and a proven track record of success in managing production operations.
Responsibilities
Select and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards
Manage and optimize the production budget
Identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements
Develop and implement the production strategy to meet company objectives
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure smooth production processes
Lead and supervise a team of production supervisors and operators
Monitor and ensure product quality and adherence to safety protocols

Bachelor&039;s degree in textiles, engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to textile production
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem- solving abilities
Proven experience in managing production operations within the textile industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
